Duterte accepts resignation of GSIS president Clint Aranas — Palace

President Rodrigo Duterte has accepted the resignation of Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) president and general manager Jesus Clint Aranas.

This was confirmed to the media by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea and presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo on Wednesday.

“The President has accepted Mr. Aranas' resignation without any reason nor any comment. The President is now looking for a replacement for the vacated post,” Panelo said.

Aranas said he quit for personal reasons.

Duterte named Aranas to the state-run pension fund for government employees in November 2017.  He previously served as deputy commissioner of the Bureau of Internal Revenue. — BAP, GMA News
