Duterte picks Army colonel to lead PSG

President Rodrigo Duterte chose a Philippine Army officer as the next commander of the Presidential Security Group, Malacañang announced on Monday.

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea confirmed the appointment of Colonel Jesus Durante as successor to Brigadier General Jose Eriel Niembra.

The change of command ceremony would be held on Tuesday at the Malacañang Park, the Palace said. — DVM, GMA News
