DOH undersecretary tested positive for COVID-19

Another official of the Department of Health has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III confirmed that an undersecretary has tested positive for coronavirus, according to Isa Avendaño-Umali's report on Super Radyo dzBB.

The DOH confirmed last week that one of its senior official, a director, had tested positive for COVID-19.

Duque himself went on self-quarantine for possible COVID-19 infection because he is “asthmatic and hypertensive.” The result was negative.—AOL, GMA News
