Gordon: 8 people onboard crashed Lionair plane at NAIA
Eight people were onboard the Lionair medical evacuation plane that crashed and caught fire at Ninoy Aquino Airport on Sunday.
Senator Richard Gordon, chairman of the Philippine Red Cross, said on Twitter there were eight passengers on board: a flight medic, nurse, doctor, three flight crew, one patient and its companion.
Our fire and medic teams were already dispatched to NAIA Terminal 2 to respond to the plane crash incident involving Lion Air Flight RPC 5880. 8 passengers consisting of a flight medic, nurse, doctor, three flight crew, one patient and its companion were on board.

MIAA subsequently reported that all eight passengers were killed in the accident.
The airport authority also said there were two flight crew members and six passengers onboard. —JST, GMA News
