Lorenzana says he's negative for COVID-19, asks for prayers for Año

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana has tested negative for COVID-19.

In a text message to GMA News Online, Lorenzana said he had himself tested twice.

"One rapid and one slow. Negative.Thank God," Lorenzana said.

Lorenzana said that he would complete his home quarantine until April 6.

Guys, my test came out today. I am negative of the COVID virus. On the advice of the doctor I will complete my quarantine until April 6.

"Please pray for Ed Año. He tested positive," Lorenzana said in reference to Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, who earlier announced that he had been infected with the virus. -Joahna Lei Casilao/NB, GMA News
