31 RITM personnel return to work after recovering from COVID-19

Thirty-one staff of the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) have returned to work after recovering from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to a 24 Oras News Alert on Sunday morning, all 31 staff have tested negative for the respiratory disease twice.

Meanwhile, nine other employees are still awaiting the results of their COVID-19 test.

The RITM had to scale down its operations after some 40 staff got infected.

Of this number, only two were admitted to the hospital while the others were made to undergo home quarantine.
