The PNP also recorded a total of 788 probable cases, while 574 were listed as suspected patients.

Earlier, the PNP said it has allotted isolation facilities inside Camp Crame for personnel who need to undergo quarantine. These include the Kiangan Billeting Center and its taekwondo area.

The PNP also sought the approval of the Department of Health and World Health Organization to develop and operate an RT-PCR testing laboratory to enhance its capability in ensuring the health and safety of its personnel.

PNP chief Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa also said there is no need to place Camp Crame under lockdown despite the continuous rise of COVID-19 cases within PNP personnel. —LDF, GMA News
