Activist Mae Paner dresses up as NCRPO's Sinas during 'mañanita' in UP

Activist Mae Paner dressed up as National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Major General Debold Sinas on Friday during a militant groups' version of "mañanita" this Independence Day.

Paner wore an orange shirt and khaki shorts, similar to what Sinas wore during his highly-criticized birthday celebration last May 8.

Paner joined the event while holding a bunch of red roses. To recall, Sinas had received roses from his subordinates during his birthday.

A Voltes V-themed cake was also given to Paner, similar to the birthday cake of the Metro Manila's top cop.

It was opposition Senator Francis Pangilinan who advised protesters to call their gathering as mañanita, which is an apparent reference to Sinas' birthday celebration despite the prohibition on mass gathering.—AOL, GMA News
