President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to deliver his weekly address to the nation from his hometown of Davao City on Monday, presidential spokesman Harry Roque said Sunday.

Roque said Duterte returned to Davao over the weekend.

“He's in Davao now. Bukas [public] address,” Roque told reporters.

Duterte has been flying back and forth from Metro Manila and Davao in the last few months for work and family time, according to Malacañang.

The President is expected to provide updates on the government’s coronavirus response, among other matters, in his weekly address.
