COVID-19 contact tracing app StaySafe.PH to be fully rolled out in May –DILG
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Monday said the full rollout of the StaySafe.PH contact tracing app was set for May.
At a Palace press briefing, DILG officer-in-charge Undersecretary Bernardo Florece Jr. said the app had not yet been activated as they were still adding and removing some features.
“Ang timeline naman namin dito ay next month. By May, full rollout na 'to sa lahat ng gobyerno, local government units. at sa ating establishments sa field,” he said.

Developer MultiSys Technologies Corp. turned the StaySafe.PH app over to the government last march.
With the turnover, the DILG said other contact tracing apps used by different local governments would be made interoperable with the StaySafe.PH app.
As of March 29, Multisys CEO David Almirol Jr. said 200,000 establishments and around 700 LGUs in the country had been using the StaySafe.PH app.
StaySafe.PH offers different features:
- citizens registration
- health condition reporting
- social distancing system
- COVID-19 updates
- contact tracing for
- real-time case management of local government units
- establishment of protection system
- LGU heat map and response system
- information dissemination for LGUs.
Almirol said the app displayed dashboards, reports, real-time monitoring, graphs, and infographics related to the pandemic and response. — DVM, GMA News
