Sputnik V anti-COVID vaccine arriving in Manila at 5 p.m. —Dizon
The Philippines is expecting the arrival of the first batch of ordered anti-COVID vaccine Sputnik V from Russia's Gamaleya drugmaker at about 5 p.m. this Saturday.
COVID-19 testing czar Secretary Vince Dizon told "Super Radyo dzBB " that after delays in the delivery of the 15,000 doses of Sputnik V due to logistical limitations, the batch is in transit and is expected to touch down at about 5 p.m. today.
Due to logistical limitations -- such as direct flights and required storage facility -- Sputnik V's arrival had been delayed.
