Fire hits Baseco Compound in Manila
A fire broke out at a residential area at Baseco Compound in Port Area, Manila, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) on Wednesday.
The fire has been raised to the third alarm as of 6:03 p.m. The affected houses were made of light materials.

In videos taken by dzBB's Divine Reyes, thick plumes of smoke could be seen billowing from the area.

According to Reyes’ report on Super Radyo dzBB, the Philippine Red Cross said three individuals were injured in the fire incident.
Based on the spot report of the Sampaloc Fire Sub Station, around 500 houses were burned while around 1,000 families were affected.
