1.5M more doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine arrive in the Philippines
At least 1.5 million additional doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Philippines on Thursday, according to a report of Super Radyo dzBB's Luisito Santos on Dobol B TV.
The new supply of vaccines arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport – Terminal 3 around 7:30 a.m. via Cebu Pacific Flight 5J 671.
Officials from the National Task Force Against COVID-19 personally welcomed the arrival of the Sinovac doses at the airport.

One million more doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine are expected to arrive in the country on Friday.
As of Wednesday, the NTF said the Philippines has received a total of 31,360,700 COVID-19 vaccine doses from manufacturers Astrazeneca, Pfizer, Sinovac, Gamaleya, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson.
Over 27 million doses have been already deployed to different parts of the country.
Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said 2.5 million doses of national government-procured Sinovac vaccines and 415,000 doses of Astrazeneca vaccines donated by the UK government are set to arrive this week.
As of Tuesday, the NTF said a total of 18,174,405 vaccine doses have been administered—11.3 million were for the first dose, while more than 6.8 million people are already fully vaccinated. — Joviland Rita/RSJ, GMA News
