Philippines administers over a million COVID-19 vaccine doses in a day –Palace
By LLANESCA T. PANTI,GMA NewsMalacañang said Friday that the Philippines administered over one million COVID-19 vaccine doses in a single day on Thursday, November 4, for the first time since the vaccination program started last March 1.
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said at least 1.11 million COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered in a day on November 4 following two prior days of administering 900,000 doses in a day.
This brought the total number of fully vaccinated Filipinos to 28.7 million.

The government plan to fully vaccinate 80% of 109 million Filipinos by May 9, 2022 to achieve herd immunity against COVID-19.
The country's COVID-19 vaccine supply has reached 100 million doses.
"We expect our pace to pick up given that the bulk of the supply just really started arriving last October," Roque added. — DVM, GMA News
