The government is eyeing to vaccinate around nine million senior citizens with immunocompromised conditions, an official of the National Task Force Against (COVID-19) said Wednesday.

At the Laging Handa briefing, NTF medical adviser Dr. Ted Herbosa said these are senior citizens with HIV, cancer, and those that underwent transplant operations.

“Ang estimate na nakita ko ay about nine million yun mga taong senior citizen above 60 that needs booster at yung may immunocompromised conditions. So hinahabol natin ‘yan,” Herbosa said at the Laging Handa briefing.
