Several LGUs all set for national vaccination drive


It's all systems go for several local government units participating in the massive vaccination rollout that will begin on Monday, November 29.

According to Vonne Aquino's report on "24 Oras" on Sunday, the Quezon City government targets to vaccinate up to 150,000 individuals during the three-day national vaccination drive.

The city government has also reminded its residents that no walk-ins are allowed.

The Marikina Sports Complex is also ready to accept individuals for their inoculation.

The Laoag City General Hospital in Ilocos Norte has also set up their booths for the rollout.

Meanwhile, to encourage residents to get vaccinated, the local government of Abra organized a motorcade with its health care workers.

The first leg of the national vaccination drive, which will be held from November 29 to December 1, aims to inoculate at least nine million Filipinos.

A total of 11,000 vaccination sites and 160,000 volunteers are expected to be activated and mobilized for the nationwide undertaking.
