Isko Moreno seeks more disaster-resilient evacuation centers

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has vowed building more disaster-resilient evacuation centers if he wins the presidency in May 2022 elections.

In a radio interview in Butuan on Wednesday, Moreno was asked about his plans to mitigate the effects of natural calamities following the devastation brought by Typhoon Odette.

“Maigi na magkaroon talaga ng pagpaplano na magtatag ng mga gusali na doon lang nakalaan (It would be better to plan on building facilities intended for that purpose),” he said.
