7 OFWs barred from leaving Philippines after testing positive for COVID-19

Seven overseas Filipino workers who were supposed to leave the country were stopped after testing positive for the coronavirus disease.

According to Mark Salazar's "24 Oras" report, the OFWs were already at the holding area while authorities informed their respective local government units in Metro Manila regarding the positive results.

Meanwhile, airline management also imposed stricter health protocols to outgoing travelers to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

This includes requiring a negative COVID-19 swab test result before entering the airplane.
