Duterte: No more outsiders named to vacated posts in executive branch

Appointees to positions in the executive which will be vacated during the remainder of President Rodrigo Duterte's term will all be organic officers of the agencies their respective heads left.

Duterte made the remark during his Talk to the People after giving the floor to Food and Drug Administration officer-in-charge Dr. Oscar Gutierrez.

“My policy is I do not take outsiders anymore, kung sino ang second in command d'yan sa opisina o departamento, siya ang aakyat," Duterte said.

"No more outsiders, para mas madali. 'Yung may alam na talaga, 'yung those who are working permanently there,” he added.

(My policy is I don't take outsiders anymore. Whoever is second in command there in the office or department, he will go up. No more outsiders to make it easier. Those who really know, those who are working permanently there.)

“Tutal pagdating ng bagong administrasyon, they will go back to the chain. Kaya itong si Oscar, siya na ang magbigay ng report kasi he is the OIC,” he added. —NB, GMA News
