PNP: 310 new COVID-19 cases push total tally to 45,782

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday said 310 new COVID-19 cases were recorded among its personnel, driving up the total tally to 45,782.

Of this number, 4,015 are active cases, data from the PNP Health Service showed.

Meanwhile, 277 have recovered, thus the total recoveries stood at 41,642 on Monday.

The death toll remained at 125.

The Department of Health on Sunday reported 37,154 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the Philippines' caseload to 3,205,396. 

Active infections reached 287,856.

Total recoveries also rose to 2,864,633 after 30,037 more patients recovered from the illness.

The death toll climbed to 52,907 with 50 new fatalities. —KG, GMA News
