PNP reports 204 new COVID-19 cases; total now 47,194

The Philippine National Police  on Sunday said 204 new COVID-19 cases were recorded among its personnel, driving up the total tally to 47,194.

Of this number, 3,151 are active cases, data from the PNP Health Service showed.

Recoveries went up by 331 to 43,917.

Meanwhile, the death toll remained at 126.

The Philippines logged 30,552 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, bringing the nationwide tally to 3,387,524. 

Active infections stood at 280,619. Total recoveries numbered 3,053,499 while the death toll climbed to 53,406. —KG, GMA News
