CARMMA holds Valentine’s Day protest over dismissal of Bongbong DQ cases
By JOVILAND RITA,GMA NewsThe Campaign Against the Return of the Marcoses and Martial Law (CARMMA) on Monday held a protest at the Commission on Elections after the disqualification petitions against presidential aspirant former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. were dismissed.
Protesters raised Valentine’s Day-themed placards with texts: “Disqualify Marcos", “Comelec, walang puso (heartless), “Comelec, heartbreaker”.
“Anong move on-move on? Walang pagmomove on sa isang magnanakaw, convict, at sinungaling na tulad ni Marcos Jr., at ngayong Valentine’s Day, tuloy ang aming panawagan: #DisqualifyMarcos!,” it said.
(There is no "moving on" from a thief, convict, and liar like Marcos Jr. And this Valentine’s Day, we will continue to call for Marcos' disqualification.)
