Lacson says candidate asked that he stop attacks after speeches vs. thieves

By GMA News

Another candidate has asked presidential bet Senator Panfilo Lacson to stop his attacks following the lawmaker's tirades against thieves in the government.

According to a report on "24 Oras", Lacson said he was not targeting anybody with his rhetoric against graft and corruption.

Lacson on the campaign trail has repeatedly asked voters to shun thieves in government in the coming elections.

He said his administration would crack down against graft and corrupt public officials.

To commemorate the 36th anniversary of the EDSA People Power, his running mate Senate President Vicente Sotto III said history could never be revised.

You can never revise history, you can only start misinforming people but that is not revising history. History happened and it was there," Sotto said. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/NB, GMA News
