DOH: 265 new COVID-19 cases recorded, active tally drops to 32K

The Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday recorded a total of 265 new COVID-19 cases, while the country's active case tally has gone down to 32,463.

This brings the nationwide COVID-19 tally to 3,680,244, according to the DOH’s latest data posted on its website.

The Health department said total recoveries rose to 3,588,359, while the country’s death toll climbed to 59,422.

Meanwhile, the top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were the National Capital Region (NCR) with 1,490, followed by Region 4-A with 570 and Region 6 with 390.

The DOH said at least 21,274 individuals were tested, while 313 testing labs submitted data as of April 5.

It added that the bed occupancy in the country is 16.9%, with 5,592 beds occupied, while 27,579 vacant. — BM, GMA News
