By JAMIL SANTOS,GMA News

Vice presidential candidate Walden Bello on Saturday said he was set to go to Davao City on Easter Sunday to file a counter affidavit in response to the cyber libel complaints filed against him by former Davao City chief information officer Jefry Tupas.

Pupunta kami sa Davao Municipal Hall doon sa Sangguniang Bayan at sasabihin namin, andito na kami, persona non grata ho kami rito," Bello said during his speech at his campaign sortie in Marilao, Bulacan.

In his speech, Bello also cited that he was accused by Duterte's regional party Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) of being a “narcopolitician,”

after he claimed the city was the center of the drug trade in the southern Philippines.

Bello was also declared persona non grata in Davao City for his claim.

"Ang sagot namin ganito, do not avoid the issue. Bello added. — DVM, GMA News
