PhilSA warns public vs transactions, solicitations from unauthorized individuals

The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) has issued a warning to the public about transactions and solicitations from those claiming to be affiliated with the agency.

The PhilSA issued the warning after it received reports of certain individuals soliciting information and other related requests purportedly for the agency and its officials.

“Any unauthorized transaction by those falsely claiming to represent PhilSA shall not be honored. PhilSA is willing and ready to take appropriate legal actions, if necessary,” the agency said in a statement on Tuesday.

The agency also reminded the public to transact only through its official communication channels.

“We likewise urge everyone to conduct diligent verification before proceeding with any transaction. PhilSA will not be accountable and responsible for any unauthorized transaction,” it added.
