Bongbong Marcos vows to address electricity woes in Occidental Mindoro

Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Wednesday promised to address electricity supply issues in Occidental Mindoro should he win in Eleksyon 2022.

He made the commitment as he wooed residents in Mamburao town this morning.

The former senator expressed belief that the fastest way to bring the province to greater progress and development is to guarantee the continuous and affordable power supply that can stimulate trade activities and commerce in the province.

(I have received your list and the number one concern of residents is the electricity. The next administration should find ways to lessen the electricity rates to ease the public’s burden.)

“Balita ko dito madalas ang brown out. Kailangan nating ayusin ‘yan, napakalaking problema niyan,” he added.

(I have learned that power outage is common here. We need to fix that.)

Aside from that, Marcos also vowed to support the province’s agriculture, health, and education programs.

Marcos, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to the people of Occidental Mindoro for the warm welcome he had received during his visit.

“Nagpapasalamat ang lahat ng UniTeam at saka ang tambalang Marcos- Duterte sa mainit na suportang ibinibigay ninyo sa amin ngayong araw na ‘to,” he said.

(I thank the residents for supporting the Marcos-Duterte tandem.)
