Duterte receives credentials of 4 envoys


President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday received the credentials of four diplomats deployed in the Philippines.

In a ceremony in Malacañang, Duterte received the credentials of Ambassadors-Designate to the Philippines of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Republic of Indonesia, Argentine Republic, and Hellenic Republic.

Cambodia's envoy to the Philippines is Phan Peuv, while Indonesia's envoy is Agus Widjojo.

Argentina's ambassador is Ricardo Luis Bocalandro, while Greece's envoy is Ioannis Pediotis.

Duterte's engagement with the ambassadors coincides with the proclamation day of his daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte who overwhelmingly won the 2022 vice presidential race with 32 million votes.

Mayor Duterte's running mate, former Senator Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. also. won the 2022 presidential contest with over 31 million votes.

Duterte will end his term on June 30, 2022.—LDF, GMA News
