SC Assoc. Justice Singh tests positive for COVID-19

 

 

Supreme Court Associate Justice Maria Filomena Singh has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the SC Public Information Office on Thursday.

The SC PIO said Singh, who is fully vaccinated and has already received her booster dose, is experiencing mild COVID-19 symptoms. The test came out on Wednesday, June 15.

Singh will still be working while in isolation, according to the SC PIO.

Singh also informed her colleagues and staff so that they could take the necessary precautions.

Meanwhile, those who were present during the SC en banc on Tuesday, June 14, were already in self quarantine and will be tested after the incubation period from exposure.
