Marcos confident Sara will do a ‘great job’ as VP

President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is confident that Vice President-elect Sara Duterte will do a great job in serving Filipinos as the second highest official of the country.

"I'm so proud of her, so proud of her. She's gonna be great, she'll do a great job. I know it," Marcos told reporters when asked for a message for Duterte who just took her oath as the 15th Vice President of the Philippines.

Marcos was present in the inauguration ceremony in Davao City on Sunday, together with his wife, Attorney Liza Araneta-Marcos, his son, incoming Congressman Sandro Marcos, and incoming Executive Secretary Attorney Vic Rodriguez.

Marcos was Duterte's running mate in Eleksyon 2022. They won in the recent polls with unity as the centerpiece of their campaign.

Marcos had picked Duterte to lead the Department of Education under his administration. The Vice President-elect vowed to work on producing skilled learners with the mindset to realize their full potential as individuals. — DVM, GMA News
