Luzon Grid placed under yellow alert

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) placed the Luzon grid under yellow alert on Tuesday, following the forced outage of several plants across the country.

In an advisory, the NGCP said the Luzon Grid will be on yellow alert from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, indicating that the grid has thin reserves based on the difference between supply and demand.
