PNP COVID-19 tally now at 48,901 with 13 new infections

Thirteen new COVID-19 cases have been reported among Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel, the police organization said on Wednesday.

Based on data from the Health Service, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the PNP has increased to 48,901.

Of this number, 27 are active cases while the total number of recoveries climbed to 48,745.

No new deaths were recorded, as the death toll remained at 129.

The Philippines on Tuesday reported 576 fresh COVID-19 cases, while the number of active cases rose to 7,192, the highest since late April. Total confirmed infections are now at 3,702,319.—Mel Matthew Doctor/AOL, GMA News
