Bible in Bongbong's inauguration same one used by Marcos Sr. in 1965

The Bible used during the inauguration of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. was the same one used during the inaugural ceremony of his father, the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., in 1965.

The National Library of the Philippines led the repair and reconditioning of the said Bible that was used by the elder Marcos.

"The Filipiniana Division of NLP managed the cleaning and repair process of the same Bible used by his father, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos, who took his oath on two Bibles on 30 December 1965," the NLP said on Facebook.

Bongbong Marcos, 64, took his oath as the 17th president of the Philippines on Thursday at the National Museum. Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo administered the oath-taking.  —Anna Felicia Bajo/KBK, GMA News
