Supporters continue streaming into ex-President Ramos wake
By MEL MATTHEW DOCTOR,GMA NewsSupporters flocked to the Heritage Park in Taguig City on Sunday to pay their last respects to former President Fidel V. Ramos.
The public viewing of the urn containing Ramos’ ashes will be open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, August 8, at Chapels 2 to 4.
Visitors were advised to observe the minimum public health standards —including wearing of face mask, and maintaining social distancing.

They were also encouraged to come early, considering the time allotted.
Meanwhile, honor guards continued to conduct rehearsals for Ramos’ state funeral, according to Mao Dela Cruz’s report on Super Radyo dzBB.
Personnel of the Philippine Air Force also arrived at the Heritage Park past 7 a.m. to join the rehearsals.
Malacañang earlier announced that Ramos will be accorded a state funeral with full military honors on August 9.
The burial will be at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
Ramos, who served as president of the Philippines from 1992 to 1998, died at the age of 94, his family announced on July 31. —LBG/KG, GMA News
