Teacher shot dead in Abra; murder raps filed vs 5 suspects –police

A teacher was shot to death in Bangued, Abra on Wednesday, Police Regional Office Cordillera said on Friday.

Based on a police report, victim 38-year-old Rudy-Steward Dugmam Sayen was gunned down in front of a carwash shop at 7:50 a.m.

Murder complaints were filed against five suspects identified as Armando Wilson, Aldrin Alagao, Sonny Boy Gandeza Tullas, Abelardo D. Talape, and Rommel Paa or ‘Ambong’.

The complaint was filed before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor, Bangued, Abra.

“Based on the testimonies of the arrested suspects, the motive of the murder incident turned-out to be a land dispute on small mining claims and personal old grudge,” the police report said. — DVM, GMA News
