UPLB grad tops September 2022 veterinarian licensure exam

A graduate of the University of the Philippines Los Baños topped the veterinarian licensure exam held in several cities last month, according to results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Monday.

In a statement, the PRC said that 335 out of 928 test takers passed the exam administered by the Board of Veterinary Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi and Tuguegarao in September.

Eight of the 11 test takers in the top 10 are from UPLB, including topnotcher Kenny Vergara Pique, who scored 84.90. The school saw 55 of its 62 students pass the exam, for a passing rate of 88.71%.
