9,821 candidates expected to take Bar exams — SC

The Supreme Court on Tuesday announced that a total of 9,821 candidates are expected to take the 2022 Bar exams on November 9, Wednesday in 14 local testing centers nationwide.

According to the Court, 253 applicants withdrew their petitions.

The high court said that of the 9,821, a total of 5,947 candidates will be taking the exam for the first time while 3,974 will be taking the exam for the second time.

Meanwhile, it said that the Bar exams will adopt a three-examiner policy.

On Monday, the Court announced that several roads in parts of the country would be closed while others would see an increase in traffic volume due to exams.

The Supreme Court has said that examinees who will be unable to take the 2022 Bar examinations due to Severe Tropical Storm Paeng may apply for a refund of their fees.

The exams will also be held on  November 13 (Sunday), November 16 (Wednesday), and November 20 (Sunday). — Joahna Lei Casilao/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
