UST grad tops October 2022 nutritionist-dietitian licensure examination

A total of 719 out of 1,114 passed the October 2022 nutritionist-dietitian licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.

Margaret Therese Romeo Laurel, a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas (UST), topped the examination with a rating of 90.10%.

Yris Nika Lim Politico of Centro Escolar University - Manila grabbed second spot with a rating of 90%, while Aizel Apolinario Mandalupe of Western Mindanao State U-Zamboanga City and Karyne June Diaz Simon of Central Mindanao University shared third place with a rating of 89.70%.

The University of the Philippines Los Baños was the top performing school with 30 or more test takers, with all 58 of its graduates passing the exam. 

The licensure exam was given by the Board of Nutrition and Dietetics in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, and Zamboanga last October 2022.

The PRC said successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the examination have yet to be announced. — Richa Noriega/BM, GMA Integrated News
