De Lima feeling ‘much better’ despite COVID-19

Former senator Leila De Lima on Wednesday said she is feeling much better after testing positive for COVID-19.

“Feeling much better now. Konting ubo na lang po. Back to my usual daily routine here, including some physical chores,” she said in a dispatch.

De Lima announced that she tested positive for the virus on Monday

“My spirit [is] greatly buoyed from the many messages of concern, support and love, as printed and sent to me yesterday by my staff,” she said.

“Muli, taos-pusong pasasalamat sa inyong mga panalangin,” she added.

Due to her illness, the November 7 hearing on one of the remaining drug charges against her was reset to November 21 and December 5.
