Gov’t offers P6-M reward for info on suspects in missing sabungeros case

The Philippine government is offering a P6 million cash reward to individuals who will be able to provide information on the location of six individuals linked to several missing sabungeros.

“Sa kasalukuyan ay ipinagpapatuloy natin ang malawakang paghahanap sa 6 pang sangkot sa pagkawala ng mga sabungero,” Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said in a Facebook post.

(The search for six individuals involved in the disappearance of the sabungeros is ongoing.)

(This is why we are offering a reward amounting to P6 million for anyone who can provide information on the location of the suspects.)

Earlier, Remulla met with the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and the families of the missing sabungeros.

CIDG chief Police Brigadier General Romeo Jr. said the CIDG already has an idea about the mastermind behind the disappearances.

(Every family can be assured that we are doing all we can to give justice for their missing loved ones and to combat these kinds of crimes.) — RSJ, GMA Integrated News
