Meanwhile, the Presidential Communications Office has yet to identify the undersecretaries of the reorganized agency.

As shown on the PCO website, only undersecretaries Emerald Ridao and Cherbett Karen Maralit have been retained. Under the reorganized PCO, there will be five undersecretaries, 14 assistant secretaries, and one assistant secretary who will directly report to Secretary Cheloy Garafil.

The three other undersecretaries who will complete the list are still being finalized, according to a Palace official who declined to be identified.

Under Marcos' Executive Order 16, the undersecretaries shall each be assigned and put in charge of the following functional areas of responsibility: Traditional Media and External Affairs; Digital Media Services; Content Production; Broadcast Production; and Operations, Administration, and Finance.

The President directed the reorganization to ensure the rationalization of its organizational structure, functions, and staffing pattern, which is consistent with the administration's efforts towards efficiency and the delivery of its mandate to Filipinos. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
