Manifest for questioned flight shows seven names; one handwritten

By GMA Integrated News

A copy of the passenger manifest for the questioned flight from the Balagbag ramp of the NAIA on the night of February 13 showed seven names, one more than those indicated in the copy of the PNP Aviation Security Group.

According to John Consulta's exclusive report on "24 Oras", the seventh name was handwritten.

Members of the PNP Avsegroup believe there were more than seven in the chartered plane.

"Nakatakbo po papasok yung tatlo at hindi po natin napasok yung aircraft," PNP Avsegroup chief Police Colonel Rhoderick Campo said.  "Sa pagbibilang po namin, siyam po yung nakapasok na nakasakay sa aircraft,” he added.

(Three managed to run inside and we were no longer able to board the aircraft. By our count, there were nine who went in and boarded the aircraft.)

Senator Grace Poe on Wednesday delivered a privileged speech on an alleged human smuggling incident on February 13.

Poe said the PNP Avsegroup received a tip at 3:09 p.m. on Monday that six passengers had been declared for a flight set to depart for Dubai at 10:00 p.m.

She said the plane—with tail number N92527E—actually had 14 passengers on board.

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) said the passengers of the chartered flight had undergone “correct procedures”.

“There were seven passengers and three crew," said BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval.

She said there were no irregularities and all the passengers had no derogatory record.
