Quiapo Church spokesperson Father Earl Valdez earlier said the Nazareno motorcade would start at 12:01 a.m.

Meanwhile, authorities were now preparing for the motorcade and parade, according to Oscar Oida’s “24 Oras” report on Thursday.

(The difference is that there is no traditional rope and our priests are there to bless the people that the Nazarene will pass by.)

Almost 1,000 policemen will be deployed around Quiapo.

(If you feel ill, just stay at home, and don't bring children with you.)

Several devotees went to Quiapo Church on Maundy Thursday.

Earl Allyson Valdez, Quiapo Church attached priest, said.

(I hope that when we go here to the Quiapo Church and to other churches if they are close to your home, we will be there in the spirit of prayer and meditation.)

Some individuals participated in “Biskleta Iglesia.”

“Nagpepray na kami at the same time nakakapag exercise,” Christian Bayona of TM bikers said.
