American wanted for fraud, racketeering nabbed — BI

Bureau of Immigration operatives have arrested an American fugitive wanted in Florida for racketeering and financial fraud, the agency announced Thursday.

Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco said the BI Fugitive Search Unit (FSU) arrested 44-year-old Rick Lee Crosby Jr. in Puerto Princesa City on April 29.

He said Crosby will be immediately deported to the United States as he was already ordered to be expelled in December 2022.

Crosby will also be included in the agency’s blacklist, banning him from re-entering the country.

According to FSU acting chief Rendel Ryan Sy, Crosby has been included in the wanted list of the Federal Bureau of Investigation since April 2020.

He was charged by the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida with racketeering, conspiracy to commit racketeering, money laundering, and an organized scheme to defraud.—Joahna Lei Casilao/AOL, GMA Integrated News
