Marcos arrives at opening session of ASEAN Summit

LABUAN BAJO, Indonesia — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. arrived at the opening session of the 42nd ASEAN Summit here on Wednesday morning.

Marcos and other heads of ASEAN member-states were welcomed by Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Marcos and Jokowi shook hands during the arrival greetings at the start of the Summit, which will take place at the Meruorah Convention Center.

Marcos will have bilateral meeting with the heads of Vietnam, Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Timor-Leste at the sidelines of the Summit. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KBK, GMA Integrated News
