Fisherman killed, 2 pals hurt in dynamite blast off Bicol

A fisherman was killed while two of his colleagues were injured after dynamite they were allegedly using to catch fish exploded aboard their boat off Pilar town in Sorsogon province. The incident occurred off Barangay Buenavista in Pilar town, according to a report on Radyo Mo Nationwide. Killed was Jordan Espanyol, 36, while rushed to a hospital for treatment were Isagani Razo, 32, and Elmer Alballer, 33. After the incident, local maritime police tightened their watch against the illegal dynamite for fishing.  — LBG, GMA News
