10 dead, 6 hurt in Davao City road accident

Ten people died and six others were wounded when in a road accident in Davao City, early Wednesday.

The road accident between a passenger van and an Elf truck happened at past 7 a.m., a report by radio dzBB's Raul Tolibas said.

The report said nine of the fatalities died on the spot and one died while being treated at the Southern Philippine Medical Center.

Four of the injured victims were in critical conditions.

Authorities are investigating the incident. —ALG, GMA News
