12 hurt as Davao City chapel collapses

Twelve people were hurt in Davao City after a chapel made of light materials collapsed in the middle of a worship service on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Tuesday report by Mav Gonzales on GMA News TV's State of the Nation with Jessica Soho, the collapse of the two-story structure was foreseen Barangay officials.

The officials said that they had previously warned the ministry members against holding services at the old structure.

The victims, including two foreign missionaries, were brought to hospital as authorities investigated the incident. — Dona Magsino/DVM, GMA News
