Flood remains gutter-deep along MacArthur Highway in Marilao, Bulacan

Flood remained gutter-deep along MacArthur Highway in Marilao, Bulacan, on Monday morning following a weekend of intermittent rains, according to Darlene Cay's report on Unang Balita.

As of 7 a.m. traffic flow was starting to get heavy as motorists navigated slowly and with caution due to the floodwater.

The highway remained passable to all types of vehicles, including motorcycles, although some motorists opted to take alternate routes to avoid the flood.

The local government of Marilao said it is ready in case the weather worsens. It said rescue boats are already on standby in case they are needed.

Classes in all levels had been suspended for the day in Marilao.  —KBK, GMA News
