Nancy saw Marivic alone at the side of the road still trying to sell balut and chicharon even when the rain was about to pour.

Nancy, who was also a balut vendor before, added she was moved when Marivic told her she was the family breadwinner and that their house that is located near a river get flooded whenever it rains.

Aside from buying all of Marivic’s products, Nancy also gave Marivic financial assistance to fix their house and buy medicine for her husband. -- Ma. Angelica Garcia/BAP, GMA News
